Two Washers in One

• A Hand Washer: When there is just that one piece of equipment to clean, when time is pressing or there is not enough gear to make up a decent load, the hand washer can seem like the ideal companion to the automatic washer. That’s why the Warthog has an inbuilt ‘flow-through’ brush that can be used in an open Warthog as if it were a hand washer.  That’s right the automatic Warthog doubles as a hand-washer simply by lifting the lid.
• An Automatic Washer: But if you have reasonable workloads or large pieces of equipment to wash then the automatic washers are the ‘heavy hitters’, cleaning gear while your crew get on with other work.   The Warthog automatic washer becomes another crew member doing best what it is designed to do, wash while your mechanics work. But because there is a place for both a hand washer and an automatic washer in almost every workshop we built the Warthog to be dual purpose.

Advantages of Cold Wash

• Cold wash can clean: Hot water washers are great for gear housings with built up dust and grease – what they are not good for is internal parts, bearings and transmissions where rust, rust inhibitors and anything abrasive will cause more damage. If you have a hot water washer you must finish with a cold wash to remove potentially damaging caustic residue. A cold wash is a cleaner wash.
• It’s safer for staff: There are enough hazards in a workshop without the added risk of inhaling caustic steam or burns from super hot parts. Cold washers are kinder on your crew, a Warthog lowers the risks and creates a safer workplace.
