The Smart SAM2S GPRS modem will retain the current features of the SAM2S. In addition, the Smart SAM2S will have a higher temperature rating and will incorporate the Intercel GPRS stack for easy transition from Circuit Switched Data to Packet Switched Data.
The Smart SAM2S’s rugged design makes it ideal for industrial M2M applications such as metering, security, SCADA, and industrial monitoring.
